Kevin D. Langholz is a Pennsylvania-licensed and West Virginia-licensed Real Estate Broker, President and Principal of Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm based in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The firm offers a complete spectrum of real estate services including: market analysis and site selection, investment property sales, exclusive listing and marketing, management, financial analysis, tenant representation and negotiation services.
He began his brokerage career in 1979 as a sales associate with Bill Green and Company, a prominent industrial brokerage firm servicing Western Pennsylvania. In 1983, he was responsible for the formation of the commercial brokerage department within Bill Green and Company, specializing in regional and national retail tenant representation, as well as acquisition/disposition of commercial property.
As a broker, he has successfully procured and serviced the tenant representation requirements of such notable national retailers including Home Depot, Costco, PETCO, Borders, Kohl’s, LA Fitness, Chipotle, Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores, and Brinker International concept restaurants.
Commercial land dispositions as represented by Mr. Langholz include the 221-acre, $300 Million “Waterfront” development in Homestead being developed by Continental Real Estate Company; the 83-acre “Strabane Square Shopping Center” development in Washington, PA, developed by The Gustine Company; and the 80-acre “Cranberry Commons Shopping Center” development in Cranberry Township, PA, being developed by Woodmont Development Company.
Mr. Langholz and Mr. Gary S. Wilson purchased the Bill Green & Company’s industrial/ commercial brokerage firm in May, 1990. Then, in 2005, Langholz Wilson & Associates, Inc. merged with Ellis Real Estate Company to form Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc. The firm has established a regional and national reputation for tenant representation services for both retail and office disciplines, as evidenced by its national network affiliations with ChainLinks Retail Advisors and Corporate Facilities Advisors (CORFAC).
As a principal of Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc., he has procured for the agency the latest computerized software, on-line services, and databases to report and provide the most current market demographics, mapping, real estate comparables, and real estate trend information available for client's review.
Mr. Langholz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Capital University. His professional affiliations include the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Corporate Facility Advisors International (CORFAC), and Chain Links Retail Advisors where he currently serves on the Board of Directors.
Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Langholz resides in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with his wife and children. A member of South Hills Country Club and The Duquesne Club, he serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
