James W. Yarish

James W. Yarish, Director of Retail Leasing, joined Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc. in September 2004.  Prior to joining the company, Mr. Yarish held the position of Leasing Agent for four years with retail developer Michael Joseph Development Corporation, based in Wexford, PA.  Mr. Yarish handled all aspects of the retail leasing responsibilities involving Michael Joseph Development Corporation’s owned developments and third-party leasing responsibilities in excess of 1.1 Million square feet throughout Western and Central Pennsylvania.  Additionally, Mr. Yarish assisted Michael Joseph Development in site selection and client representation services for such notable national retailers as Wal-Mart stores, Lowe’s Companies, Inc., and Golden Corral.

From 1988 to 2000, Mr. Yarish held a management position with E&G Gabriel and was involved in the real estate development, store operations and development, and merchandising for the retail clothing company, which operated seven retail locations throughout Western Pennsylvania and Ohio. 

Since joining Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc., Mr. Yarish has expanded the third-party leasing portfolio to include 29 shopping centers totaling more than 3,246,990 square feet, and provides comprehensive leasing services for existing shopping centers and for new retail developments ranging in size from 6,000 square feet to more than 500,000 square feet. 

Mr. Yarish is a native of Western Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Political Science.  Mr. Yarish is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
