Gary S. Wilson, SIOR, is Principal and Secretary/Treasurer of Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate brokerage firm based in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Mr. Wilson has been involved in commercial real estate since graduation from Penn State University in 1982 and has excelled in the disciplines of office tenant representation, leasing, industrial property transactions, investment property sales, and complex real estate projects such as urban land assemblages and redevelopment.
Mr. Wilson's resume includes three years of general commercial brokerage work with Pittsburgh's Realty Growth Corporation, as well as five years with Pittsburgh-based National Development Corporation, a fully integrated commercial real estate development, construction and management firm with offices from Boston to Ft. Lauderdale. In 1990 Mr. Wilson along with his partner, Kevin D. Langholz, purchased the well-established Pittsburgh industrial real estate brokerage firm, Bill Green & Company, Inc. Under their direction, the company has increased gross revenues exponentially with substantial expansions in the retail and office tenant representation fields while maintaining a strong industrial business base. Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc. was formed in 2005 as a result of the merger between Langholz•Wilson & Associates, Inc. and Ellis Real Estate Company. Additional services beyond brokerage include property management, appraisal, real estate tax appeal services and development management services.
Professional achievements include designation as a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR), a prestigious association of commercial real estate practitioners who have achieved and maintain the highest level of production while fulfilling continuing education requirements far in excess of any state licensing authority with re-certification required every three years. Only 2,800 individuals worldwide have earned the SIOR designation. Mr. Wilson served as President of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of SIOR in 1996 and again in 2005, and has received top performance awards from the Society in 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, and 2005. Additionally, Mr. Wilson served as the Year 2000 President of CORFAC International (Corporate Facility Advisors), a worldwide organization of privately-held corporate real estate companies that represent most major North American, United Kingdom, mainland European markets, Asia and Australia, of which Langholz Wilson Ellis, Inc. is its Pittsburgh affiliate. Mr. Wilson continues to sit on CORFAC International’s Board of Directors.

Assemblage of 13 properties in Downtown Pittsburgh on Fifth and Liberty Avenues, which became a catalyst in the $450 Million redevelopment plans for the “Fifth & Forbes” Corridor Project. On this site, PNC of Three PNC Plaza, a multi-faceted high-rise development that includes 320,000 SF of office space, a five-star Fairmont Hotel and luxury condominiums which opened in the Summer of 2009.
Real estate broker and development manager in the acquisition, master lease, financing, redevelopment, and sale of National Historic Tax Credits of the 230,000 SF Try Street Terminal Warehouse now known as Shannon Hall, in Pittsburgh’s First Side area. Renovation into 140 urban loft apartments was completed and occupancy taken on July 1, 2007 by 650 students of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Mr. Wilson resides with his wife and children in the Fox Chapel suburb of northern Pittsburgh, is a member of The Duquesne Club, is a member of and former Board Member of the Longue Vue Club, former member of CORFAC (Corporate Facility Advisors) International and currently sits on the Board of Trustees of The National Aviary.
